Hometown: Phoenix, Arizona

Raised in Arizona, Rudy draws constant inspiration from the textures, colors, and cultural heritage of the Southwest. His connection to the region plays a defining role in his approach as a Phoenix interior designer, where desert tones, natural materials, and layered textures often influence his work.

Creativity has been a consistent thread throughout his life. From building intricate LEGO sets and assembling model cars to immersing himself in cartoons that sparked imagination and storytelling, Rudy developed an early appreciation for how environments can feel immersive and expressive. That foundation naturally evolved into a passion for architecture and interior design.

Rudy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Arizona State University before spending several years in retail, where he gained hands-on experience in visual merchandising, store planning, and space design. Through building window displays, dressing mannequins, and planning retail layouts, he developed a strong understanding of how people interact with spaces and how thoughtful design can shape both function and experience.

He later formalized his passion by earning an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design from Scottsdale Community College, expanding his technical skills and design knowledge to support both residential and commercial interior design projects.

With a professional background rooted in retail design and space planning, Rudy brings a unique perspective to interior design. He understands how to create environments that are not only visually impactful but also highly functional, intuitive, and aligned with how people actually live, shop, and move through a space.

His design aesthetic is bold yet comfortable, blending rustic influences with a slightly maximalist approach and a touch of whimsy. Inspired by vintage finds, Western heritage, and layered storytelling, his work often incorporates character-rich elements, collected textures, and unexpected details that make each space feel personal and alive.

Known for creative problem-solving and a willingness to think outside the box, Rudy approaches every project with both originality and intention. He believes great interior design goes beyond aesthetics—it should tell a story, evoke emotion, and function seamlessly for the people who experience it.
