Arcadia Interior Design
Full-service interior design for Arcadia's classic ranch homes and historic streets, from a team that knows this neighborhood by heart.
Areas We Serve: Arcadia
Few Phoenix neighborhoods have the soul of Arcadia, and we know it firsthand. Our founder, Mackenzie Collier, lived here for ten years across two different 1960s ranch homes, so this isn't a market we researched. It's one we've actually lived in: citrus trees, lovebirds, Camelback views and all. Both of her homes had flood irrigation, which meant lush green yards, grapefruit and orange trees, and the rosy-faced lovebirds that make Arcadia, Arcadia. This is the neighborhood where MCI had its first office- across the street from the Arizona Country Club.
That lived-in knowledge shows up in the work. We understand what makes an Arcadia home special, and what tends to hold it back, and we design to honor the first while fixing the second.
The architecture we love here: Arcadia's 1950s and 60s ranch homes are some of our favorite homes to design, anywhere. They're full of charm and character, even if they're famously short on storage. We also love the custom homes along Exeter Boulevard, which carry more historic character than almost anything in newer Phoenix. Whether your home is an original ranch, a Santa Barbara classic, or a new build that wants to feel rooted, we design interiors that respect Arcadia's character instead of erasing it.
The most common thing we solve in an Arcadia ranch: keeping the charm and the light while finally giving the home the storage and flow it never had.
Designing for Arcadia living: Life in Arcadia is an indoor-outdoor life. So many homes sit on flood-irrigated lots with green lawns, mature citrus, and lovebirds in the trees, and we design to make the most of it: framing your Camelback views, opening the home to the yard, and bringing the green and the light inside. It's the kind of neighborhood where you become a regular somewhere. For us, that's been OHSO since the day it opened.
Who we work with in Arcadia: Arcadia doesn't have one kind of homeowner, and neither do our clients here. We've designed for young families, newly retired grandparents, bachelors, and families with older kids. What they share is a love of the neighborhood and a desire for a home that finally lives up to it.
